Titus 2:7-8 NLT
7 And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. 8 Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.
God has plans for you as He builds up a new you through your faith in Christ. This passage describes the standard God expects of us. But He does more than simply impose impossible sounding standards for conduct upon us. He creates the sort of inner power within us that will make this standard very common among obedient Christ followers. When you teach the truth, truth grows within you. As you ask God to let 'everything you do' reflect His integrity, then you hold yourself accountable to him and in the eyes of others for that same integrity. It is there for your asking. How neat it can be when those who want to criticize you because of the evil in their own hearts, cannot find a single honest things to use against you. You walk in Christ's image as you permit Christ to live in and through you.
