Peace for those Far and those Near, Peace for All

Eph. 2:14-18 NLT
14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.  15 He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.  16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.
17 He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near.  18 Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

The promises that Paul was outlining to the Christians at Ephesus are for us as well today. There is the promise of peace. There is the promise of unity together with others who believe and with God Himself. All this is promised to all who believe by the Holy Spirit-- because Christ obeyed. In the Lord's obedience we have been redeemed. In His resurrection, we have been cleansed, purified, and made new.

The peace God brings to us is perfect peace, there can be none more perfect. It will sustain you regardless of what turmoil you might ever face. It will comfort you when you face loss. It will lift you if you feel knocked down. It will heal you when you feel wounded. It will protect you when you feel threatened. It will guide you when you feel lost. It will embolden you when you are intimidated. This peace is all you ever need and it is yours for the asking. Receive PERFECT PEACE today through faith and trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Next, share this with someone who also needs such peace.
